Kevin Bell
Kevin Bell is the executive director for Online Curriculum Development and Deployment at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies. He leads Northeastern's efforts toward the goal of high-quality, professional online programs based on industry and academic standards. He works closely with senior leadership to ensure that the Northeastern University Online strategy aligns with the College's five-year vision and with the University's academic and regional campus goals. -
John LaBrie
Dr. John LaBrie is the dean of Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies, which offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. Dean LaBrie was an adult learner, earning his bachelor’s degree in French part-time from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. He then went on to earn an MSA in management from Saint Michael’s College and an EdD from the University of Pennsylvania. -
Michael Hoffman
Dr. Michael Hoffman is the executive director for Information Technology at St. Bonaventure University, and has also taught courses in the School of Business at St. Bonaventure on business information systems and internet marketing. In 2013, he received the Dean's Medal for Outstanding Doctoral Work, the highest honor awarded by the Northeastern University College Professional Studies to a doctoral student. -
Dan Urman
Daniel J. Urman is a faculty member and the director of the Doctorate in Law and Policy program at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies. He developed and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of political science and law and public policy at Northeastern. Mr. Urman was a Marshall Scholar at the University of Oxford. -

Len Mhlaba
Dr. Sondlo Leonard (Len) Mhlaba is the associate dean of Undergraduate Academic and Faculty Affairs for the College of Professional Studies (CPS). He is responsible for issues related to the undergraduate curriculum, faculty recruitment and development, market and competitive positioning, and needs assessment. Prior to joining CPS, he served at Bunker Hill Community College as the dean of Arts and Sciences and as the dean of Mathematics, Behavioral, and Social Sciences. -
Art Laman
Art LaMan III is a faculty member in the Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) program. He develops and delivers educational content on topics in the Project Management curriculum, including Fundamentals of Project Management, Project Evaluation, Cost and Budget Management, and the Project Management Capstone course. Mr. LaMan serves as a mentor to adjunct faculty and students, developed the MSPM alumni outreach program, and creates and updates course material. He also serves as a project management, Lean Six Sigma, and nonprofit strategy/board development consultant to nonprofit organizations. -
Mary Thompson-Jones
Mary Thompson-Jones, EdD, is a faculty member and the academic director of the Master of Science in Global Studies and International Affairs program. Her research interests include international diplomacy, the intersection of cultural diplomacy and international higher education, and U.S. foreign policy in the geographic regions of Europe and Latin America. -
Dan Lebowitz
Dan Lebowitz is the executive director of Sport in Society at Northeastern's College of Professional Studies. His tenure has seen a wide spectrum of work, from a partnership with the NFL around sexual harassment prevention to a solidified position as one of the most sought-after resources for capacity-building and leadership education to sport and social change organizations. Disabled as a youth, Lebowitz used the medium of sport to shed leg braces, become a competitive body builder, coach high school basketball, and direct a performance training business. He embraces the notion that sport bridges the divisiveness of politics, offers conflict resolution to adversaries, and brings a sense of community to the disenfranchised. -
Peter Stokes
Peter Stokes, PhD, is executive director of Postsecondary Innovation at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies, a role dedicated to conducting research on innovative practices across a range of academic and administrative functions within higher education. As a commentator, public speaker, and advisor to a variety of educational organizations, Peter has been a longstanding contributor to debates about higher education public policy at the federal and the state level. -
